Scholarships

Thank you for your interest in applying for a Summit 2010 Scholarship. We are no longer accepting applications. Scholarship recipients will be notified on or by Monday, February 15, 2010.

Surdna Through the generous support of the Surdna Foundation, the Social Enterprise Alliance is pleased to offer 10 scholarships to social entrepreneurs and changemakers who would like to attend Summit 2010.

The scholarships cover conference registration (including regularly scheduled meals on April 29 and 30) and 2 nights lodging at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. All travel and other transportation costs as well as other activities such as tours/preconference workshops remain the responsibility of the registrant.

Scholarships are intended for professionals who would otherwise not be able to afford to attend and who are:

  • The sole representative of an organization attending the 10th Summit and not already registered.
  • Represent a social enterprise, whether established or start-up, (versus a student or individual) with an annual operating budget of less than $500K. The legal structure of the organization is irrelevant as long as the primary mission of the organization is social or environmental while business is the vehicle for achieving the primary mission.
Scholarships will be awarded to fully-eligible applicants on a first-come, first-serve basis that fully meet the above stated criteria.
